I've been reading some back issues of ANALOG(formerly ASTOUNDING), during the 80's, 90's, and recently, and the artwork, for the most part, cannot compare with the cover and interior art that you show for the above three stories. The Golden Age of Illustration Art really did end in the 1950's, or the 60's at the latest.
I am one of those that likes the old art work. The new stuff dosen't have the same soul. Later Slap

ReplyDeleteYou are right about that, Walker. It's almost as if artists have taken a step backward in their evolution.
