What struck me as different was Gary Moore noting on several occasions the affability of MacDonald, which didn't seem to be his mode in most interview settings. Or at least not generally reported that way. But, then again, this served as a point of contrast to the mayhem-and-carnage picture that Moore used to describe JDM's work in general. I also enjoyed the picture of the "high-tech studio" where MacDonald is fooling around with his new word processor and printer. Look at the size of those monsters!Steve Wellmeierhttp://www.navilogue.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4290476670691353414.post-90408373317971864922018-09-06T13:57:34.045-07:002018-09-06T13:57:34.045-07:00Thanks Keith. Still, I guess it's better than what SF writers had to endure--"UFO NUT WRITES NEW NOVEL" sorts of things.<br />The telling point here, as often, is in your introduction--that sad reminder of how very quickly--incredibly quickly, really--MacDonald's works disappeared from the shelves...and consequently in many ways, the culture.Keith Ferrellhttp://keithferrellwriter.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4290476670691353414.post-46572253481229952652018-09-03T13:51:32.968-07:002018-09-03T13:51:32.968-07:00Agreed on all counts.Agreed on all counts.Steve Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15863138617383626261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4290476670691353414.post-83762676114471492372018-09-03T06:58:04.371-07:002018-09-03T06:58:04.371-07:00Thanks.
